Preschool Teacher/ Assistant Teacher Qualifications: Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED and have been
trained or are being trained in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Development. The person must attend 15
hours of Early Education Training, CPR training, and Blood Borne Pathogen Training annually. The person must undergo
criminal background checks. The person must have a warm, friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs
of others. They must be able to relate well to the children. The teacher must be able to fulfill the responsibilties
in accordance to Acres of Discovery's educational philosophy.
